Overview
Customer has a start-up business, and want to launch 30 skus products to test market.
Color number from each design is over 8.
Challenge
If we use traditional flexible packaging, MOQ is 5,000 pcs, which means customer should order at least 150M pcs, which is not acceptable.
Moreover, we have to make plates for per color, 30 skus*8 colors/design, which will take high cost to make 240 cylinders.
Result
We use HP indigo digital print to meet customer’s request.
Finally, benefits from flexible MOQ and no limit on color numbers by digital print, customer launched her products in a reasonable cost.
How We Did It
We provided both gravure print and digital print options for customer.
After doing comparison on cylinder fee, MOQ and turnaround time, she chose digital print.
While received design files, our design team took only 1 hour to work out proofs for customer confirmation.
We arranged test print film for 30 skus before production, customer was excited to see them.
Production took 8 days and air shipped to USA took 7 days, which won customer’s long term repeated order.
